Θύμιος Στουραΐτης Light
Thimios Stouraitis, born in Keratea, Attica,
has played in various recordings from 1955 to 1970
with the ‘taximia’, which characterize him.
He has accompanied all the big names of popular music,
such as Menidiatis, Kety Grey, Gabalas etc.
Apart from being a talented bouzouki performer,
he also has a good voice for rempetiki music.
Far from accidental is the fact that he was earned 4th place
in the series ‘Talented Bouzouki players’ by SONY.
His distinguishing characteristic is his sharp and simple playing,
for which he was given the nickname John Lee Hooker.
