01 · Recording studio

The right pickup for the sound of every instrument

Music creation and performance now pass through computing, yet every recording and amplification starts with a pickup, transducer or microphone that «captures» the sound signal.

In our analogue and digital studio we record the instrument's notes and digitally analyse the result into the three basic elements of its identity. With a dedicated control console we cross-check and match, so that the personal character of the sound comes through naturally via the right pickup or transducer.

PitchFrom the fundamental frequency: how high or low the sound is.

VolumeFrom the amplitude of the vibrations: how loud it is.

TimbreFrom the harmonics: it lets us recognise the instrument.

02 · Spectral analysis

The hammer impact rig, invented by TAP

A tool for measuring the sound of musical instruments: portable, robust and calibratable. It was developed through many prototypes. Special software maps the harmonics and certifies the instrument's «signature».

03 · Room acoustics studies

Clear sound for every listener

Every space has its own shape, materials and sound coverage needs. An acoustics study ensures that instruments sound right in the room and that listeners enjoy acoustic comfort.
